This white worm could be anything, and for a nursing mother and toddler to be eating from this salad is a health hazard! The entire group is speechless, first at being outright gaslight, and then upon seeing the offending worm dismissing it as nature. then he walks away after offering to bring a replacement salad.
The manager does not believe us about the worm, but we see the worm on the floor, showing it to the manager, who picks it up and says 'yes its a worm but salads come from nature and we eat them all the time so its all ok'. The toddler's father calmly explains to the manager about seeing the worm, to which the manager replies back he cannot see anything in the salad, adding we all saw not a worm but a piece of salad (the worm had dropped to the floor when the manager picked up the offending salad piece). We all see the disgusting little thing and I flag down the first staff member I see, which happens to be a manager. the toddeler’s mother, whom has the toddler in her arms, exclaims 'there is a worm in my salad!' holding up the offending radicchio bit with a small wriggling white worm on it. I along with five other adults and one toddler ate dinner at Francos, and at first it the only issue was COVID related, this being very slow and over worked serving staff.
